A HISTORY OF GROWTH,

Permaju Industries Berhad (PIB) was incorporated on 7 March 1996 and has been listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (Bursa Malaysia) since 9 November 1999. The Group’s provision of management services and investment holding is bolstered by a diverse portfolio of business operations, with branches across plantation, automotive and property sectors.

 

The Group’s current subsidiaries include Capital Intertrade (FORD car dealership, sales and distribution since 2010), Cergaz Autohaus (trading of luxury automobiles), Genbayu Gemilang Sdn Bhd (timber plantation) and Permaju Properties Development Sdn Bhd. among others.

 

Building from a bedrock of experience, the Group plans to make further inroads into these divisions, diversifying its services and maximising new opportunities in line with our ESG goals. Such initiatives include promoting sustainability and meeting new demands with private and commercial Electric Vehicle offerings, and setting new agricommodity benchmarks with the establishment of Malaysia’s largest smart cocoa plantation.

 

In the IR4.0 era, the Group aspires to be a leading force in Malaysia’s automotive and plantation industries, built upon people-centric principals that value the competencies, wellbeing, and productivity of our staff, whilst adopting innovative strategies and transformative digital practices to accelerate and sustain growth.

Our Journey So Far

1996

Incorporated in Malaysia on the 7th March 1996 with the Company's Commision of Malaysia.

1999

Listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange main board (Bursa Malaysia) on the 9th November 1999.
