ADVANCING THE GREEN WAVE OF SUSTAINABILITY
Taking advantage of current available technologies in line with our ESG goals, the Group will expand its automotive business by venturing into the sales and leasing of luxury and commercial electric vehicles (EV) following the approval and implementation of the new EV automotive policy under the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade & Industry’s (MITI) National Automotive Policy (NAP 2020).
A new showroom at the Arch, Kuala Lumpur is being planned and will showcase a variety of premium EV marques as well as a fully digitised retail space with the aim of creating enhanced customer experiences. Further plans include the installation and management of 50 parking lots with dedicated EV DC Fast Charging Ports, which may be increased with demand.
In addition, The Group seeks to explore the implementation of EV solutions within the commercial sector including last mile delivery, light commercial vehicles, public transportation, and EV charge point infrastructure setups.
